Very pleased with the Pixies show. Especially once they warmed up to the crowd and realized that plenty of us didn't go to UVA and knew more than "That song from the Fight Club soundtrack" and "Gigantic". The two songs I wanted to hear most they didn't play but I'm not that surprised (Is She Weird and Cactus). The Pavillion does sound a little better with more people in it and these guys certainly had a better sound tech than the Spin Doctors did (yeah, saw them in September for 3 dollars...it was just about worth it..=} Anyway, it was prolly the smallest crowd I could have seen them in and that made me happy and close to the stage.
